The Hong Kong protests has unexpectedly revealed increasingly alarming influence China has over several large American businesses, particularly in the area of free speech. Apple, the NBA, Blizzard Entertainment, and South Park have all discovered the tricky challenge of maintaining China as a 1 billion consumer-base opportunity as well as a prominent investor in their own companies.
